The Lion in Winter may be set in 1183 but the struggles and intrigues will be familiar to today's audiences.

Just watched the movie and it changed some of my reactions to the play. Very helpful. Highly recommended the movie with Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole. Excellent.
